ceramic cachepot/ plant holder i think it was manufactured in Italy by SCI (Società Ceramica Italiana) Laveno, circa 1950. It is made from white glazed ceramic. Fine rolls of clay woven together to form this basket like structure. On inspection this is a very fine ceramic piece, intricate and so delicate . This Ceramic pot is in perfect condition all imperfections are glazed so the makers mistakes gives away the hand made nature of this surprisingly complexed construction. This is something I will be sad to be parted from.
