This Pure wool wall hanging is an excellent example of mid century textile art. Hand made with skill in the very typical colours of the 70s. it depicts a man and a woman standing in there home. It has 2 wooden rings attached to the back for hanging and long braided tassels along the bottom. There is no label or signature but I think this was made in Lublin , Poland as its a very distinctive style typical of the region. Wool wall hangings are very good at absorbing sound so great to hang in rooms with wooden floors where sound is echoing .
