This magnificent and majestic creature is carved and captured in solid wood, it is very heavy . Left rough in some places and smooth and polished in others makes for a striking sculpture. The wood is very dark I think it is iron wood . A great example of outsider art a wonderful piece of folk art and craft originating from North America
