An original WWI British army Issued W.Watson & Sons Ltd, London binoculars with leather hard case. W.Watson & Sons produced binoculars for the British military during both world wars. Binoculars are still in good working order with adjustable lenses that focus. Clearly broad arrow marked with original leather neck cord and Leather case by Wray, London. The leather is quite worn and brittle in places ( see pictures) but has beautiful patina and wear. A lovely item great for bird watching in the garden . x 6 magnification. The name F. Bailey scratched onto the metal frame which i imagine was black originally , now the base metal is showing through.
