This 1960s Puzzle Clock is a time teacher and jigsaw combined. It is made of plywood with colourful images on the front, the outer ring illustrating the four seasons and the inner ring depicting activities from childhood during the day, ranging from breakfast to bedtime stories, mostly school-related.It has a few flaws ( see pictures) as it has been played with and used . Its a charming little piece and would make a lovely picture if the pieces were glued on, a way of teaching how to read a clock face and tell the time .The sun in the middle is the only part of the puzzle that isn't removable, the times of the day are illustrated with different activities throughout the day, and the corners are 4 peg puzzle pieces, which show the seasons of the year. The clock puzzle even teaches the 24-hour clock..... A wonderful teaching aid, functional yet beautiful, a great design.
