A quality vintage Hermes silk scarf designed by Hugo Grygkar circa 1974. The Scarf is silk twill with hand-rolled edges (100% silk). In exellent condition
About the design:
During the Belle Epoque (1871-1914), France was prosperous and experienced many social and technological changes. Single and tandem velocipede ( bicycles ) were all the rage, and the "becane" became the preferred means of transportation for Parisians who socialized on the banks of the Marne. Sundays were spent picnicking in front of the rowing races and dancing at the guinguettes. Hugo Grygkar pays tribute to this carefree and light-hearted period, when even the police made use of bicycles and were nicknamed "the swallows" due to the capes they wore. Four boater hats, worn by athletes of the time, surround the central drawing.

Whether in your hair, around your neck or on dressing a bag, this large-sized scarf is easy to wear and instantly transforms your look.
