Antique English Oak Biscuit Barrel / Small Ice Bucket with Silverplate Lid. circa 1930s
Charming decorative accent piece engraving shield and double banded body with inner interior porcelain lining. A rare and characterful example of late 19th to early 20th century English craftsmanship - shaped like a miniature oak cask. Made of solid oak, it features decorative electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) fittings, including bands, handle, engraving shield and lid. The interior is lined with white ceramic cylinder so would work well as an ice bucket . Very Weighty and in exellent condition save for one missing screw ( this does not effect the structure in any way. Priced accordingly )
