Made from 18-8 Brushed Stainless steel (18% Chromium & 8% Nickel)
The sledge base is press-formed & die cut & the arches are fully welded.
Stamped beneath with the 1959 Old Hall trade mark & Welch's design credit.One of Britains great Modernist/Minimalist designers, combining form & function in the simplest articles & elevating them to true art objects!
The "Campden" toast rack won Old Hall its first Design Centre Award in 1958 for its “proportional perfection, with a style & material ideally suited to the New Age”.
In good vintage condition with just a few small surface marks from use.
