Handmade Peruvian Bonbona and Acai seed necklace.. multi coloured
These necklaces are handmade by the native people in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. They are made with chambira, “jungle rope” sourced from vines and with special seeds hand picked by members of the Shipibo Tribe. This necklace includes the colorful, naturally dyed, seeds from the Acai Palm Tree.
The Acai Palm Tree is an indeginous tree of the Amazon Rainforest of South America. There are many myths and legends associated with the Acai Palm Tree but it is most commonly known for the berries that it produces that are high in antioxidants and regarded as a superfood. These seeds are gathered and hand dyed
