This 1950s ceramic kitchen jar is an off white/ cream colour with a painted on red stripe. The red stripes also have texture. it holds 2 pints (1136 ml) the lid has a small nibble on one edge ( please see photograph ) but considering it is 68 years old it looks pretty good and is priced acordingly . Made in England by Sadler the 'kleen kitchen ware' epitomises the 1950s. There is a little crazing in the glaze and some of the red glaze is worn away in places but a really lovely item that will prove to be useful too. Measures 14 cm tall x 12.5 cm wide
