A great pair of Art Deco 1930s-40s cufflinks featuring a terrier dogs.
The terrier dogs are white with brown patches that are standing on a patch of green grass appearing to be in an alert position waiting for their masters command. These Art Deco cufflinks are reverse painted into a domed rectangular shaped clear resin/glass panels that are still extremely clear and bright today. These in turn are set into a gilt coated brass bases and frame which are then attached to gilt coated chains with torpedo toggle fittings. A popular design from the Art Deco period.
These are a fine pair of Art Deco cufflinks and would make a splendid gift for either a terrier dog owner, a collector of vintage and Art Deco jewellery or make a splendid addition to a country sports wardrobe.
Very good vintage condition.
