This is an original vintage Uten.Silo. Dorothee Becker designed the iconic Uten.Silo organiser in 1969, followed by a smaller version just a year later. This is the smaller version. The wall-mounted organiser helps keep odds and ends tidy in homes, offices and workshops. The Uten.Silo is equipped with hooks and containers of various shapes and sizes, providing practical storage space for all kinds of everyday objects and making it easier to find things.
Size: 68 x 52 x 6.5cm
Material: ABS plastic, metal hooks
Weight: 2.3 kg
The plastic is discoloured with age, erring on the side of cream and not pure white . There is also a small crack in the plastic on the edge, which is not seen when hung but I have stated it for an accurate description . It really is a fabulous piece, quirky, decorative and practical . Made in Germany by Ingo Maurer. A rare and wonderful item
