This is a set of three brass Tulip candlesticks designed by the silversmith Pierre Forssell for Skultuna, Sweden circa 1970s.
The delicate yet modern design is a excellent example of Forssell’s work and the simple Scandinavian purity in design. They really are a thing of beauty and the quality and refinement of the construction is stunning. Measuring 10.2 cm tall/ 12.2 cm tall /14.2 cm tall x 3.5 cm wide at the base - this was a special edition of miniature tulip
Stamped with the manufacturers mark SKULTUNA and the number 1607 and V10 - the V10 means it was manufactured in 1995. They are surprisingly weighty

I have not polished these beauties, as the patina that comes with age is something i find very beautiful, But if you like them polished it is very easy to do. They are designed to hold the extra thin dinner candles that are so popular in Scandinavia. They have a very sculptural form so would look just as good displayed without candles.
