Beautiful T G Green Cornishware bread bin with lid. You can see from the photos it is in perfect condition. You can fit ample bread in this Crock. Measures 32cm tall with the lid and 25cm wide. It weighs over 4.5kg. Marked on the underneath with the Cornish ware emblem ( pictures to follow ) First produced in 1924 cornishware was created by using a lathe-turning technique that scraped blue slip away from its beautiful ceramics to reveal white bands of clay beneath. Those stripes reminded an employee of the blue skies and white-crested waves of Cornwall – which is how Cornishware got its name. Postage is high on this item because it is really heavy and breakable, but i will refund any postage over charge once I know exactly where it is going and what it will cost to send.
