A true vintage Kilim rug .Pure wool woven on a cotton base thread. The vivid colour pallet is unexpected but truly stunning. The pink is almost luminous . Because of its hand made nature it is not a perfect Rectangle . knotted cotton fringe edge. Hand knotted, possibly hand dyed wool- this is a labour of love. This vintage rug is not perfect, its 50 years old, its a rug, its worked hard But it is made from wool which is strong and resilient ( if you keep the moths away) and will looking stunning on the floor or as a wall hanging . It has many years of service to give. It has a past but this for me adds to its beauty. When it comes to pricing goods its often boils down to what I'm willing to let it go for. This magnificent rug is no exception. 95 cm wide x 180cm long.
