A fantastic true vintage framed print titled "Capitol at night" by Max Hofler. Sold through the British institute Boots back when they did homeware. This retro print is unglazed in its original off white wooden frame. At first it appears to be a scene of London with St Pauls and Clerkenwell tower but on closer inspection it really is a fantasy city for the view to project onto- it is your city. I love these old prints they were the beginning of affordable art. Paintings reproduced as framed prints allowed the masses to own art. This print is very evocative with its glowing lights and busy river.
