This is a perfect little shirt dress made by the quintessentially English luxury clothing manufacturer Aquascutum. A beautiful thick cotton in the classic house check. Sleeveless with buttons from top to bottom , pockets and a thin cord fabric belt at the waist .Cut quite straight it is a subtle a line to just below the knee. This is my perfect dress and was indeed purchased for myself, but alas vintage UK 14 is really more a current day UK 12 so this perfect dress was not to be mine. It has a modish simplicity and would go from office to beach to evening out quite easily. This would fit a UK 10 to (small) Uk 12. This is wardrobe classic that will never date.
