A rare vintage find; a true, 1940's wool gabardine dress coat, in excellent condition! The colour is dark, navy blue. The fabric is a fine all wool, gabardine.
A very tailored and beautifully made garment. There is structure to the coat featuring padding in the shoulders, a nipped in waist with pleats to the hem, button up front and pockets . The sleeves are full length with fitted, folded over cuffs. The lining is rayon crepe. It is a very smart but versatile coat in a good size ( uk 12-14). So hard to find these quality vintage pieces today.
