This is a pair of Rare old match books. There are still a few matches left to burn but it is the illustrations that make these two desirable. Beautifully illustrated in a typical 1960s fashion we have the Queens guards - the Grenadier Guard with his busby and the Yeoman of the Guard with his ruffle and hat. Designed by Kailer/Lowndes for Venture matches. Boy do i wish these were still in production. The front cover and back cover show the front and back of the characters, stood on one end they stand like guards do. They are in vintage used condition , but are still bright and very decorative. Not many of these around as they were used and discarded.
