This Shaker work chair was used in Shaker communities as weaving chairs and other tasks. Today it serves as a convenient counter chair.
Shaker tape is used on the Shaker ladder-back chair seats. It is a tough canvas-warp, cotton-weave narrow tape in a light grey. Made of solid black Cherrywood.
The Shaker chair is light weight and yet sturdy and comfortable
These were imported to the Uk from this USA master craftsman and are a very special item
Price is for 2 chairs , selling as a pair

47cm wide ( front of seat) narrowing to 37 cm wide (back of chair)
37 cm deep
67.5 cm tall (floor to top of seat)
99cm tall (floor to top of back rest)
