Bu-ne refers to a flirtatious, young and beautiful woman, often a concubine in Korean dance theater. She has a smile and rosy cheeks. Beautifully hand carved mask from the play of Hahoe Byeolsin Exorcism which was classified as an important cultural asset by the South Korean government in 1980. Hahoe Byeolsin masks themselves were also labelled South Korean national treasures at the same time. The Hahoe mask dance is one of the folk dramas of Pungcheon Hahoe village in Andong city, and dates from the Goryeo Dynasty ( very long ago)
