A truly incredible piece. Pure silk 1950s embroidered kimono in a dazzling deep blue with Marigold orange lining . The piece is in good condition for its age. Colorful satin stitch embroidery chrysanthemum and other flowers cascade down the back. A soft and flowing silk saturn with a coordinating belt. This would make a beautiful wall hanging as well as being worn. There are 2 spots on the silk- i have had this garment professionally dry cleaned so i think they are permanent , but really not that noticeable, Ii state it just for a full and accurate. The internal silk is worn from time ( see pictures ) but still feels strong. supplied in a gift box. Can be worn over sized so could fit a size uk 10 - 14
