A pair of Mid Century rattan wicker tub/ bucket chairs with iconic black metal hairpin leg base, looks very much like the chairs designed by Terence Conran in the 1950's but as there is no makers mark and a few variations in design it's hard to say conclusively if these are in fact Conran chairs. Who ever designed them was very clever .They are in excellent condition and look fantastic. Originally conceived as a patio chair these are so lovely that I would happily bring them indoors. These are rare as hens teeth these days. They are made up of 2 parts - the metal frame and the woven basket seat. Throw a sheep skin on for cosy winter comfort. They are sold as a pair.
